Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a full day exploring Samarkand's most iconic landmarks:
Registan Square (15th–17th c.), the heart of ancient Samarkand, consisting of the Ulugbek, Sher-Dor, and Tillya-Kori Madrasahs.
Bibi-Khanym Mosque (1399–1404), once one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world, built by Amir Timur after his Indian campaign
Gur-Emir Mausoleum (15th c.), the final resting place of Amir Timur and his family.
Shahi-Zinda Necropolis (11th–15th c.), an avenue of stunning mausoleums, a sacred pilgrimage site.
Siyob Bazaar, the central market, famous for dried fruits, spices, and traditional bread.
Lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, dinner at another local venue, followed by an evening walk on Registan Square to enjoy the light and laser show.
